Today I've been at a Young People's Champion Event held in Richmond House and met a range of wonderful and inspiring young people who have contributed to the school nurse work programme over the last year . The champions consist of:
- Young carers who have been involved in training school nurses to be carer aware and were also involved in the development of the young carers pathway http://bit.ly/1uefiN1
- Young people champions for school nursing services – young people who have completed the British Younth Council accredited champion training. http://bit.ly/1HpIWsN
- Young people from ‘Wired’ – a Warrington based group of young carers who have developed a song relating to childhood flu. Watch them perform it here: CYP event movie
